LOS WILLOWS FEATURED WEDDING
Jennifer’s & Stephen’s Wedding
Saturday, June 20, 2009
At Los Willows, we've seen every variety and combination of bride escorts you can imagine. Jennifer's entrance was
striking as she stood alone on our boat and floated across the lake, serenaded by a live guitarist at the awaiting wedding gazebo. Along with her groom, her bridal party, family and guests all watched with anticipation as Jennifer glided to the dock where she was met by her mother who escorted her down the aisle and into Stephen's loving hands. Following the wedding ceremony, the guitarist eased the guests into cocktails and hors d'oeuvres by continuing to entertain in the outdoor bar patio until it was time to move into the reception pavilion. Hot passe
d hors d'oeuvres (beef skewers, coconut shrimp, and asparagus wrapped in phyllo puff pastry) were an elegant touch as the gentle guitar music filled the late afternoon air.
Fast becoming a favorite chosen wedding feature at Los Willows is our famous "Candy Bar," which Jennifer and Stephen provided after dinner to their guests' delight. And just for some added decadence, they included the Chocolate Fountain station, which drew guests like bees to honey!
This joyous wedding was the perfect send-off to what we know will be a fun and fabulous Jamaican honeymoon for Jennifer and Stephen! "Bon Voyage!" from the staff at Los Willows! For package details and information on our wedding specials, please contact Liza Isacsson: 760.731.9400 ext. 7005 liza@loswillows.com

LOS WILLOWS FEATURED WEDDINGAmy’s & David’s Wedding
Saturday, June 6, 2009Every wedding at Los Willows is beautiful, and Amy’s and David’s was no exception! The most striking element of their wedding was their unique centerpieces, which had everyone, including our staff, “Oooing!” and “Ahhhing!”
The bride chose deep chocolate brown table cloths with dark wood chiavari
chairs. The accent color was a celadon lime green. We had seen this color combination before, and loved it, but this time the choice of centerpieces and aisle décor set her wedding design apart from anything we’d previously set eyes on. She used both short and tall centerpieces arranged with an assortment of flowers, limes, artichokes, candles, water, and goldfish. The tall glass centerpieces were filled with water with limes resting at the bottom and colorful fish
swimming above them. The others were an assortment of shorter glass containers with limes and artichokes in water. Artichokes were also cleverly made into candle holders.
We are continually amazed at the talents of our floral designers and love seeing our brides knock their guests' socks off with something so original as Amy's and David’s centerpieces! For package details and information on our wedding specials, please contact Liza Isacsson: 760.731.9400 ext. 7005 liza@loswillows.com

Top Ten Reasons to have a Destination Wedding (and have it at Los Willows!)
10. The people in your lives who will make the effort to come to a destination location for your wedding are the ones who truly care about you. Through ‘natural selection,’ on your wedding day, you will be surrounded by only those who really matter to you.
9. Make it fair: with two families, whose various members are often spread out geographically anyway, many wedding guests may be traveling to your wedding whether it’s a destination or not, so, with all your guests traveling, everyone who will attend your wedding event would have the same basic costs to plan and save for.
8. You will likely pare down your guest list for a smaller wedding, allowing you to find time to enjoy all your guests in a more meaningful ‘quality time’ way.
7. Having your closest family members and friends “present” will be the greatest “present” you could ever ask for or that your family and friends could ever give.
6. At Los Willows, our inclusive "Destination Wedding" packages take away all the hassel of the details while providing you a vast array of choices.
5. Enjoy the affordable luxury of having your hair and makeup done right here on our premises in our own state-of-the-art salon.
4. You, or anyone in your wedding party, can (and should!) indulge in a relaxing massage or facial in our world class on-site spa while you are here.
3. At Los Willows, we are completely devoted to you and your wedding. We only book one event per day and there is no outside traffic whatsoever to disturb or disrupt your wedding.
2. There is sooooo much to do nearby here in our Southern California backyard! Let us show you the many ways to plan a getaway of a lifetime for all your guests.
And the number one reason to have a destination wedding - especially at Los Willows...
1. A stunningly gorgeous wedding location in the heart of one of the world's most popular vacation destinations (beautiful, sunny Southern California!) for one and all will gift you and your entire wedding party with extraordinary memories that will last forever! For package details and information on our wedding specials, please contact Liza Isacsson: 760.731.9400 ext. 7005 liza@loswillows.com
