Los Willows as a "Destination" venue for you and your wedding guests.
Come for your wedding, stay for the fun!
Making a Vacation of your Wedding
One compelling reason (among many!) to journey to Los Willows for your wedding is for both you and your wedding guests to enjoy the endless local attractions and activities. Within a short drive from Los Willows, there are so many choices and varieties of activities and entertainment in which to partake, you won’t know where to begin – and you won’t want to stop!
From romantic winery tours, hot air ballooning, gondola rides, and shopping excursions to Mexico, to adventurous sky diving, off-roading, or parasailing above a spectacular California beach, there is just about nothing that you cannot find to do within close proximity to Los Willows in spectacular sunny Southern California…any time of year! Whether you love to participate or prefer to entertain yourself as a spectator, there is something here to indulge everyone’s passions and interests.
Near to Los Willows are world-class dining, outdoor adventures of all sorts, antique shopping, sightseeing, harbor cruises, arts & entertainment, theme and amusement parks (you can’t forget to visit Mickey Mouse at Disneyland)…just to name a few exciting things to do!
Steal away for a day trip to Catalina Island, Mexico, the fabulous beaches of San Diego, or to tour Hollywood. Take in a play at the Old Globe Theater or an exhibit at one of the many museums in San Diego’s Balboa Park – and don’t pass up the chance to visit the penguins and polar bears at the famous San Diego Zoo while you’re there.
Sporting activities and events of every kind abound, including hiking, fishing, cycling, air adventures such as hot air ballooning, helicopter tours, and hang gliding, as well as off-roading vehicle sports, water sports in the local lakes, bays, and ocean, and snow sports – yes, on a warm, sunny California “winter’s” day, when there is snow at the local mountain resorts, you can tan on the beach in the morning and be on the mountain skiing or sledding that afternoon or evening…it’s that close! And if you just want to sit back and take in a game, we have pro football, baseball, basketball, and hockey teams playing at our local arenas and stadiums from San Diego to Los Angeles. We even offer auto racing at So Cal’s world renowned Fontana Speedway…or perhaps a lively day at the horse races in Del Mar is more your cup of tea.
World famous beaches embrace our coast from the San Diego/Mexico border, stretching along the stunning Orange County coastline, and all the way up to Malibu, north of Los Angeles. Languish on the beach, ride the waves, or rent a bicycle or rollerblades and “people watch” up and down the boardwalks. And for your amusement at the beach, ride the Ferris wheel on the Santa Monica Pier and take a walk down the colorful Venice Beach boardwalk to be entertained by the local street performers.
For nightlife, dance and dine the night away in San Diego’s downtown Gaslamp District after a concert at Humphries by the Bay featuring current and timeless musical artists, or travel just up the road and relax to soulful jazz music at the local wineries. Nearby four-diamond rated Pechanga Casino rivals the nicest in Las Vegas in luxury and amenities with 5 restaurants, a concert venue that draws top name acts, championship boxing, a comedy club, a nightclub, over 500 elegant guest rooms, and gambling, of course!
There are also many recurring seasonal events in our backyard such as fairs and festivals, including the celebrated Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival held each June, and the International Film Festival also in nearby Temecula that is celebrated each September. Past film festival honorees, including William Shatner, Diane Ladd, and Frances Fisher, have preferred the secluded privacy of our luxuriously appointed Los Willows Inn as their lodging of choice while in town for the festival and ceremonies, which are open to the public.
And if you’re simply looking forward to decompressing from a busy life, then go no further than our first-class in-house spa for an indulgent massage or facial. And while you are here, don’t forget to book a room at our elegant, peaceful Inn with breathtaking canyon and vineyard views that go on forever.
Let us help you turn your stay with us into a vacation of a lifetime!
